Privacy Policy

Privacy is Our Foundation, Not an Afterthought
Here’s the truth: We’re building MVLT.ai to be the journal that actually respects your privacy. While we’re still in development, we only collect your email address when you join our waitlist. That’s it. No tracking pixels, no creepy data harvesting, no selling your information to the highest bidder.
This privacy policy is refreshingly simple because our data collection is refreshingly minimal. When MVLT.ai launches, your journal entries will be encrypted on your device before they ever leave it. We’re designing it so even we can’t read your thoughts.
Why? Because your inner thoughts deserve a sanctuary, not a surveillance system. Let’s dive into the details...
🎯 Our Privacy Promise (No Corporate BS)
We Don’t Know What You Write
Your future journal entries will be encrypted on your device. We literally can’t read them.
Your Data Never Gets Sold
We make money from subscriptions, not from selling your data. Period.
You Own Your Data
Export it, delete it, take it with you. It’s yours, not ours.
Minimal Collection
Right now, we only have your email. That’s all we need.
📊 What We Actually Collect (Spoiler: Almost Nothing)
Right Now (Pre-Launch)
- •Your Email: Only when you join the waitlist (via Formspree)
- •Basic Analytics: Page views and general location (country/city) via Google Analytics with IP anonymization
- •Stripe Info: If you become a founder, Stripe handles payment (we don’t store card details)
When MVLT.ai Launches
Here’s where it gets interesting. Your journal entries will be:
- Encrypted on your device before anything is sent anywhere
- Stored locally first with optional encrypted cloud backup
- Zero-knowledge architecture - we can’t decrypt your entries even if we wanted to
🎯 How We Use Your Info (It’s Boring, We Promise)
Your Email Address
- → Send you updates about MVLT.ai’s launch
- → Share privacy tips and journaling insights (no spam)
- → Let you know about founder opportunities
- → That’s literally it
Analytics Data
- → See which pages people visit
- → Understand if our message resonates
- → Fix things that are broken
- → Make the site better
🚫We DO NOT: Sell your email, share it with “partners”, add you to sketchy lists, or do any of that gross stuff other companies do.
🔒 Security (We’re Not Messing Around)
Current Security
- ✓ HTTPS everywhere
- ✓ Secure form handling via Formspree
- ✓ No passwords stored (yet)
- ✓ Minimal data = minimal risk
Future Security (The Good Stuff)
- ✓ End-to-end encryption
- ✓ Zero-knowledge architecture
- ✓ Local-first storage
- ✓ Optional encrypted cloud sync
Bottom line: We’re building MVLT.ai like we’re going to use it ourselves (because we are). Your privacy isn’t a feature, it’s the whole point.
